Next thing you know, they'll take away our wine and candles too! Dang politicians.

Yep, have to be 21 here to buy "bath salts". Damn right scary what people will do for a buzz.
I totally forgot about paint. I sent my son to Lowes to grab some spray paint the other day and he came home empty handed lol. Huh

The " bath salts" have been banned here for a month. They were supposedly a legal form of cocaine, but said not for human consumption right on the package.

They've been illegal with the USAF for a while now. They're sold here in San Antonio but in stores carrying that kind of stuff. We're (the military) not allowed in these stores. However, it doesn't stop people from going in. I had to escort a prisoner to jail the other day for drugs...including "bath salts"

And we'll let them. Because it is easier to let someone else (gov't) do the thinking for us. We'll grumble a little, some folks will make a stink, but in the end, it will all go away, and the sheeple will be happier.
If you dont think so...look at tobacco and bath salts.

Oh, thats what this is about anyway.

hahahaha

It's basically two of the ingredients similar to Meth. They label it bath salt, and put not for human consumption on the bottle.
They just found a way to sell speed. Most states are banning those ingredients. So you will still be able to find legitimate bath salt for those of you who enjoy those.

CALGON is safe!

Just like cigars and other tobacco is targeted in the cigarette laws because they use the word "tobacco" loosely, I was curious if they banned 'BATH SALTS' as a whole, or just certain ingredients. Calgon was very prompt in replying:

Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding our product(s).

Calgon bath salts are made with sodium chloride, corn starch, menthol and vitamin E - all natural and safe ingredients. They do not contain any harmful ingredients such as mephedrone and methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV), which are the substances in question. We are deeply concerned about the increasing use of common chemicals for drug use and want to reassure our customers that they can continue to feel confident in Calgon, a trusted and iconic American brand for over 60 years
