I thought some might have a issue with this but the holders I have used that clamp the cigar have damaged (sometimes) the wrapper, specially in dry climates, or would not hold a smaller ring or larger ring cigars, this is something I wanted to avoid. I have thought about putting a strip of velcro that could be attached to the bottom and then just wrap around to hold the cigar in place. I ride and have a cigar in my mouth but sometimes just want to set it down for while. The simple velcro strap could easily put in place at highway speeds with one hand. Also while testing my prototype it was never issue that the cigar fell out. It worked perfectly, hence "Perfecto" became the name. It was just like having a great ash tray on my desk. To give you a visual, the image of my holder, is holding a very large cigar almost 64 ring, so one would have to hit a pretty big bump to dislodge it. Also when I golf, I always have my cigar in my hand or mouth when driving and I observed the same behavior of other cigar smokers that I watched. Not that it doesn't happen but I didn't see other cigars smokers leave there cigar in the holder while driving. There is another holder on the market that has a tray that snaps on to golf bag snaps. I works fine holding the cigar but it's no different that setting your cigar on the fender or roof, if you forget about it and drive off your cigar falls off and it's gone. Mine clamps on the dash area, just set your cigar down and go hit your shot and when you get back in the cart just pick it up and go. Others you have to use one hand to operate the clamp and the hand to hold the cigar. Thank you for your input. |

That said, this is why we are going to give it a life time warranty. If it ever breaks, send it back and we will replace it. Besides when was the last time you were upset with yourself that you bought the best of what ever it was you bought. As for the price, we have all lost cutters and lighters that cost a lot more, worse yet lost or ruined a a great cigar because we didn't a place to put it. Thank you for your input. |

Please don't take this the wrong way but you ask what we thought of it and you almost seem like your arguing the reasons we gave you. Your the person looking to make money on this (and I truly do wish you the best) and I think listening to people who play golf and use a holder is a good idea for you. I do understand what your saying about holding the cigar while you ride but the fact remains that if you hit a bad shot that most of us I'm sure do you might not be driving to far to get to your ball so leaving it in the clamp is just gonna happen. As for the clamp one damaging cigars I do agree I did damage a cigar with mine a couple of times so I would like to see something better come along I just haven't seen it yet.

This is the thing about posts , emails and text, things can get taken out of context very easy. That said, since you are looking for something better to come on the market (like me) I will send you complementary Perfecto if you care to PM me your contact info. Production is still about 6 weeks out. Thank You again for your input. ps I'm a 2, but still manage to lose and step on my cigars because my 4 iron flew the green into the water from 225, sucks. |

Good Karma Mr. Iron. I'm not a golfer or anything like that.
It seems that the price point is the main concern.. I do spend money on lighters and cutters (not much tho) but I also use them daily. 40 bucks for something I wouldn't use daily is a bit much for me. I will say it does look good.. Some of the reviews that I read on Amazon and other sites addressed the poor quality/cheap workmanship of existing holders. I appreciate the feedback, though... |
