Good points...

There might be a better way to break it to him...maybe in a few weeks after the excitement died down.

If it's the thought that counts one has to wonder what the heck he was thinking??!!

I'll find a way to educate him gently. I gave him three bagger today of good real nc sticks in return for his innocent generosity. I asked him if he'd smoked any of those yet and he said he's saving them for special occasions with his father-in-law, who he says is a knowledgeable cigar lover. I may have to inter vein and hand him a real esplendidos before that happens!
Either way, I have a new smokin buddy at work!

Having a new smoking buddy at work is the real prize! Truly generous of him, and he will be a lot happier when he can tell the difference between fakes and real ones. Good on you for preserving his joy up.
