I have noticed that the cigars have different tastes on the front of your palate than they do on the rear. When I let the smoke drift into my throat to exhale it through my nose I can taste a whole different array of flavors than I do when I just blow the smoke out of my mouth. I assume that this is part of the total smoking experience. Since I have learned how to exhale through the nose I have found I enjoy some cigars I didn't care for the first time I smoked them. Probably the reason I started out being drawn to the more full flavored and darker wrapped sticks was because I didn't know how to fully taste them.
