Figure out what will work for you. I have beads and an oust fan in my unit.
Distilled water is MUCH cheaper and the beads can reg the humidity and depending on what Humidity you want, there is a bead for you. The beads come in 65% and 70%. I know that a while back. they had a pound of them on Ebay for $5.
