Does anyone here have a TiVo brand DVR? I would love to hear feedback as I am considering upgrading from the Comcast DVR that I am currently using. I am considering the Premiere XL. Thanks

I have a tivo hd 3 but i have never had a cable company box to compare it to. Some things to think about, you cant get pay on demand, but you can stream netflix (limited titles). You also can search youtube and purchase videos through amazon as well.. Uh, you can also login on the web and add new programs via the computer. I have the smaller hard drive version, so i only have 180hrs standard, about 20 hd or somthing like that. I generally tivo shows in standard def, unless its some Discovery series, or history channel, i'm actually currently watching History of us in HD. One other thing i can think of is that you need to get cable card from your cable provider, and in my case, they needed to come install it...any q's?
