I had one of these sitting in humidor for almost a year, and it seemed like the perfect selection to kick back after completeing my finals before heading off to the Twins game [we lost 2-0 to Boston]
To describe this cigar in three words: Maduro. Maduro.Ameretto.
I know it was not the most complex maduro ever but it was in my mind everything a maduro should be, deep and flavorful, even and chocolatey. I encountered a consistant ameretto flavor from this box pressed little maduro, with leathery rich tobacconess. The burn was wavey but not uneven, with a lovely, thick carbon rim and clean white ash. It made for a good hour of smoking, did not parch the tongue and did not burn hot. I enjoyed it down the to last inch.
I'm not always on the same formula when I review a cigar but on the CA scale I would give it a 78 - Decent production cost. Would buy again at the $4 price tag.
