Don Andres posted @ 9:53 and got the PM @ 12:54pm

Is there any reason it took 5:20 to get a pm from one and 3:01 for the other? Did I break it? Thanks for the help.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.

Sometimes depending on the GoDaddy's server load (the host used for StogieChat) certain things may be put on hold... Specifically sending emails about Private messages, subscriptions, etc.

All it means is that instead of being nearly instant they are sent out at a time in which there is a lower server load. This is a very common practice on servers and is to ensure the best possible speeds when loading pages.
