VERTIGO.
#11
Wow guys. I hate that y'all get vertigo. I have never had it thankfully. But when I was a teenager I would randomly faint. Be out cold for a couple of minutes. Wake up dripping in sweat. Used to scare my teachers big time. They tested me for vertigo but ruled it to be a vega nerve or something like that.

Most likely this is Benign Positional Vertigo as long as you dont have any neurological symptoms and a negative CT scan. The Doc can do a Nylen-Barany Test (Maneuver) to confirm diagnosis and if positive can treat with the Eply maneuver (physical therapy usually does this) or teach you how to do the Brandt-Daroff exercises. I never found meclizine to be helpful at all. Sorry for all the terminology, but you can google "benign Positional vertigo" and all the other stuff will come up as well. Feel better.
