Are you looking for an ecommerce cart rebuild or an informational site?

Eric I have some sad news about the pirate humidor.
Back when I was still married my ex threw it down the stairs trying to hit me.
If she had been a better throw I would have caught it and left with it.
Unfortunately it hit the nook and shattered.

So I guess it might be time to commission a replacement.

sorry to hear that, man - i loved that thing. Regarding a replacement...I have learned a lot since yours (the first) and I lost a fair amount of money in the process....soooooo....something comparable to the pirate humi would be closer to $700 these days.....so i totally get it if it's not time after all....Wink

btw - good to see you, brother.

Well it sounds like you have one of a couple of options...

1) You can find someone to custom code an ecommerce site for you with all the features you need. This process will probably cost you anywhere between $4,000 - $10,000+... Though, you would probably want to check with some different companys online and locally that do custom web development before completely knowing for sure what it will cost you in your specific situation.

Even still, a custom solution is often a bad idea in the long run... If you're interested in thise potential long term problems let me know and I can go into detail.

2) You could build your site off of an existing program like Zen Cart... Zen Cart is a free program that basically runs on your web server (web hosting account) and allows you to run an online store. It's easy to use, secure, free, and fully customizable. You can seriously make it look like anything you want. With Zen Cart, because the bulk of everything is already done for you, its just a matter of customizing it... Which is easy, but if you decided to do it yourself I'm confident you could get someone to customize it for you on the cheap.

I actually took the liberty of setting up a Zen Cart demo on one of my web servers so you can take a look at it... Play with it... Customize it... Just kind of check it out. I'll PM you the details in a few minutes.
