Favorite Films of 2006
#11
Only watched 4 films in the theater this year: Bond, Narnia, Borat, and a night at the museum.

The only one I didnt enjoy thoroughly was Borat, though parts were quite amusing, overall, meh.

oh yeah.  definitely both.

Has anybody else seen the Good Shepherd?-it was long as hell, but it definitely made my top 5.  Also, I seriously dug The Prestige and Brick.  I guess that fills it.

that was an interesting movie hands down.....dont know why I forgot about it

and ya APOCOLYPTO was great.
Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.

I didn't mind "The Prestige." An ok movie. I think the movie I enjoyed most of 06 was "V for Vendetta." And i liked "Apocolypto" a lot.

Here's a list of movies release in 06 for those of you who can't remember what came out... http://www.the-movie-times.com/thrsdir/m...6+ByTGross

Oh, I forgot about Brick, it was definitely a good movie. Wouldnt be in my top five, but maybe an honorable mention. Still waiting to see The Prestige, and now I'll have to add The Good Shephard to my need to watch list.

Not a bad movie, but it was a 2005 release.

Not really surprising, but a little depressing that none of my favorite movies cracked the top 10 in sales. Though several of them were pretty limited releases. I cant believe V for Vendetta only managed to make it to # 33, it was the one film in my top 5 that I thought would have pretty broad appeal.

I'm gonna have to go with Pirates of the Caribbean: dead mans chest.

& notable mention for jackass 2... made me laugh when I needed it most.

the wickerman was by far the most disturbing.

I didn't see many movies in `06.  I'll say Casino Royale, which was one of the better Bond films.
