WTF is wrong with the American police? I'd like to hear it

There are good cops and bad cops just like there are good citizens and bad citizens. Remember cops are hired form the general public and have the same problems as everyone else...Some are scumbags...Some are not.

They suffer from inside the office pressure just like Joe Citizen. They suffer from alcohol and drug addiction...Just like Joe Citizen. They have good days and bad days. They have family problems just like Joe Citizen. All this has a direct effect on job performance...Just like Joe Citizens. They have outstanding officers just like we have outstanding Joe Citizens that try to do the best they can.

The only difference is when a cop makes a mistake in his job he is held liable in civil as well as criminal court. Every decision they make has a direct effect on someones life. Some do it well...Others don't.

Basically what is wrong with American Police is what is wrong with society in general. Most are just average guys trying to do an impossible job...Thank God for the good ones. [angel]
