Not to be devils advocate, but I dont really care for the band on this at all.  It seems like they didnt complete it.  Like they started with an X and then production times came up, and they had to rush so they just threw some gold flecks on it.

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE THE FUENTE'S, but I think the original Opus band is better looking, and definitely the Forbidden bands.

Thats ok, to each his own.

I will say that I am not the biggest Fuente Fan.  I don't care for their regular stuff (though I need to retry the Don Carlos), but I do love the Opus, Casa, GOF and Anejos.  I think they are the best at marketing and have no doubt they could produce / release more than they do.  They are great at creating demand and good for them, but others, like Padron come to mind, seem to have no problem making their special cigars much more available.

But as far as the band on this stick, I think the subtle A Fuente's signature on the side of the band going along with the bold giant X is pretty cool.

Bands notwithstanding, this is one of the finest cigars I have ever smoked and I have been lucky enough to smoke 2 of them. I am talking about the OR only. You can buy these at casa fuente for the price of a house payment.
