Jimbo, you gotta be real careful. I have seen moldy cigars being passed off as plumed. There is a big difference. One tastes like the south end of a north bound horse, the other is crystallization of minerals left behind from oil secretion and is considered the ultimate sign of a well aged cigar.

I would think more often than not (albeit marginally) any hite substance on a cigar for sale in a local smoke shop is likely to be the former.

You know I wouldn't do anything  NEW regarding cigars without consulting you first.
