Everything is cool, Jimmie... thanks for asking. Things have been a bit touch-and-go this past week and a half. My best friend, Tony, and his wife are expecting his second child (daughter) any day now, opposed to the original due date of late-December. They thought her water broke on the 12th, but it was dischage due to losing her mucus plug (...my apologies for being graphic, but I've never heard of the term "mucus plug" until the incident). Regardless, the baby is coming... early. She was rushed to the hospital twice this week - both false alarms. 2 centimeters dilated as of this morning... we'll see what happens. Tony and I now live less than 10 minutes from one another, opposed to 90 minutes apart we lived during the birth of his first daughter, so I'm sort of along for the ride this time around.
Tony doesn't smoke cigars, but I'm trying to talk him smoking one when his daughter is born. I'm telling him it's "bad luck" if he doesn't!
