i just sent him a email about not shipping to NY..i will respond back when i get a answer..im hoping he can make a few changes..we'll see
wow i had no idea the tax was so high, this is the reply i got, the suggestion i had made to him was to add a option during checkout that if the person ordering lived in NY then it would automatically add the extra tax..but i had no idea how high it really was..so here is his reply to my suggestion
I appreciate the suggestion. However NY tobacco tax is 75% plus around 8% for sales tax. No one is going to want to pay an additional 83% for cigars when they order from out of state retailers and receive them without those taxes included
