ask and ye shall recieve my friend!
This was a really enjoyable brew to make. In fact, here we are about 14 hours after I set the batch, and the activity is unbeliveable. This is the first time I have put a batch in the glass carboy for primary, and I am loving all the activity, the krausen in beautiful, thick, and the beer below is dancing all over the place, it's really amazing.
One thing that was frustrating, I forgot to get C-Brite sanitizer whan I was at the store, and didn't realize I was out here at home. So, I used bleach, and just made a point to use a decently weak solution, and rinse out afterwards.
was very glad to find this, though I was looking for Arrogant Bastard. i will review at a later time, but VERY good beer.
the set up. NO, I don't use all the corn sugar in the batch, but just wanted to have enough to go around since I needed some in the batch, and some for priming this and the next batch.
ahhh, the grain, this was a lot of grain for me, this sock is bigger than I think it looks, and it was great using that much, and yes, i am having dreams of false bottoms, how did you know?
This was my first time doing any straining. Went pretty well, had a lot of stuff from the almost 3 oz of hop pellets that went in there.
OK, so these two I took after an hour of setting the batch here. No, it is not as dark as it looks, but it does look wonderful.
Now these next two are this morning, only 14 hours after pitching, I wish I could load up video, hmmm, maybe I can.
