It's not popular to smoke cigars anymore. We're shunned and hated on.
Theres a rum bar here in Hollywood that has a cigar lounge outside that I've been meaning to check out. I hear good things.
The thing that I would like to see a cigar bar excel in, is an inviting and friendly proprietor and clientele.

There are a couple here in the Seattle area but none in the city itself that I know of. Damn shame too, because I know that I would patronize the heck out of a place like that. ;-)

I've been to one in Minneapolis and it was really nice.
Given the winters we have in Wisconsin I wish we had one near me. I would get to enjoy a lot more cigars in the winter.

There is a nice one in Virginia that I go to, and a nice one in NJ when I am visiting.

Here in mississippi well i should say north east ms,there aren't many places to smoke stogies an the only place around me is 47miles away an the biggest is 100 plus

some time in the recent past it was decided that smoking of any kind was akin to punching babies in the face. Enjoying a cigar, responsibly, in private, or with friends, became considered the same as chain smoking cigarettes in front of the air vents of nursing homes. People decided that the right to enjoy oneself is not as important as their belief that irrational hatred and misunderstanding.
Or, in another way, a lot of people who don't do something that doesn't harm anyone decided that those who do enjoy something that doesn't harm anyone are wrong and evil and should be punished for the first group's ignorance.
