ND Herf 2011 Pictures - US_Tank - 10-10-2011 04:29 PM
Well fellas it was yet another memorable herf in ND. This one was lower key and unannounced for two reasons. First Jimmie the Mum wanted to bring his brother-in-law out and keep things lower key. Second I had to bring some family out for my son's youth deer season hunt at the same time. So we combined the herf.
Jimmie and Phil arrived on Thursday September 15th and my little brother Dave picked them up at the airport in Minot, ND. My Dad, son Jake, and I were already out at the cabin. My buddy's Dan and Doc Carlson arrived Friday and stayed until Sunday. My Dad and Jake also left Sunday and that left Mum, Phil, Dave, and myself for the final 3 days.
Mum was out for 6 days. And glorious days they were! I must say there are not better guys in the world than Jimmie the Mum. He visits, he bombs, he cleans, he tells stories, and he is always there for a guy. They don't get much better than the Mum!

It was youth deer season. We did not hunt real hard as the deer were in early season patterns yet. But we brought the herf to the hunt regardless!
