Jambo!
ScoopKW here.
"Scoop" because I'm a retired journalist. "KW" because I live on the island of Key West.
I gave up on journalism to challenge myself with a more rewarding career -- brewing beer. I suppose I should change my handle from "ScoopKW" to "BrewKW." But I've been using this handle for so long that it just doesn't feel "right."
Oh well.
I smoke mostly ISOKWs. And even though I live 90 miles from the ISOKW, I still haven't travelled there -- despite the fact I could sail there in half a day. I have lots of friends who go regularly. But I fear that with my luck I would be one of the very few that gets hassled.
("ISOM" is a pet peeve. There are lots of islands south of Miami. Hundreds, in fact. Key Largo is an ISOM. So is Lower Matecumbe. So is Grassy Key. So is Stock Island. There are, however, only THREE islands south of Key West. One of them is big and is known for cigars. The other two are really small and are mostly known for offshore banks and diving.)
I came to Stogiechat after leaving one of those other boards. You know, the kind that has an incredibly poor signal to noise ratio. No reason to say any more about that.
