Sooo...I have a couple paintings I need to ship (one being Brently's latest commission)....a while back I was searching the internet for some cardboard "sheets" that I could use to package the paintings (basically building a box around the piece) - I was psyched when I found what was listed as 5 X 5 Kraft Corrugated Pad at a box/packing materials website. The largest painting is 4' long so I figured this would be ideal. Fast forward to last night...I return from work to find a small box on my doorstep....OOoooh...CIGARS! I open the box to find a stack of 100 five INCH squares of cardboard!!!! wtf!!? I was pissed! The description does not specify unit of measurement and I assumed (yeah I know) that it was FEET. Soooo check the return policy. I am required to pre-pay freight AND insure the package!!! That would cost more than the product!!! I emailed them and took responsibility for the role of my ignorance but asked that they assume some of the fault due to the incomplete product description that ed me to my purchase. I told them I would eat the cost of shipping but I refuse to insure the package "in case these valuable cardboard coasters get damaged" as I told them...RIDICULOUS!! Haven't heard back yet.....
