i heard abount the Fuente Fuente Opus X Lost City on Doc's podcast, and thought it might be worth it. has anyone else had the pleasure of one? is it worth the large amount of pesos for it? any other suggestions for a special occasion cigar for my 44th birthday, which, by the way, i will have the immense pleasure of smoking in the smoking bunker on our base in Afghanistan. any thoughts?

Welcome back Flyerman! The Lost City is a very nice cigar and would be great for birthdays and returning home celebrating. Other good celebrating smokes? Any Padron anniversary, Tatuaje monster series, Viaje Oro series, and something not too hard to come by...Liga Privada No. 9.
My thoughts are with you over there!

Mike

The lost city is a great smoke and is surly something special. For my last birthday I had a Forbidden X. To celebrate our engagement the misses bought me a Cohiba BHK56. That was truly a special cigar and one I will probably only smke one more of.

I had a Perfecxion X that was gifted by a superb member of this site not too long ago and it was fantastic! Also, the Padilla/Studio Tobac Figurado is a good one to celebrate as well.

Git R Dun!

Can't go wrong with any Padron anniversary.

Never had the Lost City! But heard its good. I think it's overpriced. To celebrate I would buy a box of Cain Daytona 4's for 100 bucks and share with your friends. It's a hard cigar to beat.

You should consider an Ashton ESG Salute. Seems kind of appropriate, too.

Tank hit the nail on the head, sharing cigars with friends is wayyyyyyy more enjoyable than any super premium.

The Lost City is, with exception to the power ranger, THE Best Opus X I have had... Hands down... Well worth the $$$...

Tank and Jitzy are right,

The best premium in the world is still "just a cigar" compared with smoking with friends, and I speak from experience due to how much I smoke alone.

Nobody who would smoke with you would be disappointed with the Cains.

I DON'T GET DRUNK ..... I GET AWESOME!!!!!!
