first off, has anyone ever been to Tabacalera a Fuente? how hard is it to get there and have a tour of the plantation? is it worth the trip? what are you able to come away with, by way of super special smokes?
#2 - probably be taking an anniversary cruise next year to Mexico. where are the good B&M's there, for ISOM's?
and for the lurkers, it's in Mexico, so any Cubans are legal there.

I haven't been personally, but I've heard several times that the LCDH in Cozumel is a very good one . . . and that the one in Cancun is highly suspect.

You won't get into Fuente from what I know. Moki is in a class all his own when it comes to Fuente contacts! None of us will ever get there. Hell, I feel priveleged to have gotten to the level to get to live vicariously through him!
And on the subject of LCDH's while in Mexico. It's technically still illegal for you as an American citizen to buy/smoke cuban cigars even on the soil of a nation where they are legal. Food for thought. That said, enjoy the smokes while on vacation![cigar]

Flyerman, where in Mexico are you going?
The LCDH in Cozumel is very good, but high priced. There is also another shop to the left of the cruise terminal all the way down the strip, it's upstairs in a very nice indoor plaza, they have a good selection, but they are WICKED overpriced, so if you really want to buy cubans, there is a couple options for ya. When you get in a store, just remember your info. Going to a habanos store is like a little kid going to toys r us, you get all giddy and loose all track of everything. Remember to check prices and dont get screwed.
