What do you look for in a good beer?
#11
I prefer Stouts, Bocks, & Porter's with a few Abby beers & Barley wine thrown in. But I love seasonal beers as well. Its all about the taste for me...
Spaten Oktoberfest is a must this time of year. Paulener and a few others are great to boot...
Got a bottle of Sam Adams 13th Hour and one Chocolate Bock left and no one to share it with Dodgy

.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.

For a real German Marzen I like Spaten. Great example of the style.

For a domestic I like Sam Adams as its a little maltier than the classic style.

Agreed.
