Well, I have dipped my little toe in the water - Diamond Lion has tried to pull me into the quicksand.
A while back I was telling him about some trouble shaving my neck, and he gifted me a razor and a selection of blades to try. (Doug, I don't remember the model of the razor - do you?) I have tried about 5 different blades, and am actually able to notice a difference - I'm still keeping notes as to what I like best.
I don't do the whole brush thing for the shaving cream. I have tried and liked the Nany Boy shaving cream, but am out and am on Edge Gel at the moment. I also really like the Nancy Boy Blossomwood aftershave balm, also introduced to me by Doug.
I am not going to go all crazy like Doug and have a multi-tier shelf in my bathroom for all of my shaving stuff, but I do like what I am using now. And I haven't bled to death yet. lolololol

Maytag, it was an Edwin Jagger de89 razor. Next, I will try to sell him on the Nancy Boy Blossom Wood shaving cream. Bill really REALLY wants to get into the finer points of shaving brushes, so help him out. :-)
I still exclusively use my shaving set up and classic wet shaving 100% of the time. Love it.

Funny you should ask, Mumfather. An addition to the shave den...
I saw this on an episode of How It's Made, looked it up, and ordered it. It creates a really nice warm lather. Otherwise, I have my shave routine. I know what I like and go back to it. Mekur Barber Pole with Feather blades and a good Taylor of Old Bond Street cream. The other lather I use a lot was one suggested on this thread long ago: Nancy Boy Signature or Blossomwood. It is equal to TOBS creams. I even got Maytag using the Blossomwood after shave lotion.
