I smoked two of these, the toro size thanks to Robbie throwing in a couple extras with my order. This cigar looks very nice. The construction was excellent. Great draw and lots of smoke.
Both of these cigar were medium bodied IMO. The flavor really wanted to come out, but it just wasn't happening. I tasted subtle hints of cocoa and earthiness. It was like I hit the mute flavor button. Just cool smoke. I wasn't impressed. :?

Somethings wrong if it didn't kick your ass. Pretty complex and is going to age to be killer. Skip has some that have started to plume and mine are so oily the paper is stained and they sparkle. It seems like this happened before with someone else. I can't imagine they would be that inconsistent but it's possible. I want others to chime in.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.

I've only had a couple of the Supremos (as opposed to most of a box of the Guajiros and nearly TWO boxes of the Fabulosos, lol) but from what I recall, "mute button" was NOT how I'd describe their flavor.
I'd say check your humidity. One thing I've noticed about San Cristobals is they don't like 70+ at all . . . let 'em acclimate for a few weeks at 65% and they should knock your socks off.

San Cristobal's are a mighty fine smoke, but there is no accounting for taste I guess. Just read a review of the Illusione CG4, the guy absolutely hated it.. But IMO it's an incredible smoke.
Always happy to read an honest review though, so ty for that, even if your taste buds are fried! [lol]
