The maduro's have a sweet chocolate taste and are still full bodied... I wouldn't let them age too long, Jorge Padron recommends that you smoke 'em right away since he's already aged his tobacco a minimum of 3 years...

I had my first 64 a couple of weeks ago, and it only took one. Had to smoke up a fistful of my best sticks to get it off my mind. Now I read this thread--I'm Scared!

The 64 is great and are much easier to find and less expensive.
But the 26 is a world class smoke. Stands up nicely to just about anything.

If the 1926s have ruined you then I'd recommend staying away from the 80ths [devil]

Not counting the 80th, I generally smoke either the 1926 #9 natural or the 1964 Exclusivo or Corona either natural or maduro. I used to smoke the 1926 #1s all the time, but I don't always have time to truly enjoy them...

I think I'm in the small minority that enjoys the '64 more than the '26. A maduro imperial, diplomatico, or exclusivo would be heaven right now.
Haven't had a natural in a long time though...need to pick up a couple.
