I recently started dating a fantastic woman who's a dedicated "Hasher". I'm not a big fitness nut, but wanting to know this woman led me to attending a wednesday night "Hash". She described it as a "Drinking club that runs"!? Since I'm a breathing man with needs I obviously had to see what made her tick. I ran through a swamp, under a bridge and about 2 miles of painful uphill pavement. All in pitch darkness with no idea of where we were going to end up. I'm going back next week! Every mile or so a beverage truck waits to quench your thirst while the group sings drinking songs that aren't fit for broadcast TV. Odd? Yes. Fun? The most I've had with burning calves ever. Since it's an international social club I wonder if there's anybody else on here that does this? www.jaxh3.com is the local site for my area.
