Looks like it was a little cold in Omaha last night.

Great times so far with Dooley, Tank, Gus, Steve, Buckit, Marty and  the ladies.
Tomorrow we go the Nebraska / Rutgers game.

Wish I could have spent more time with you guys this weekend. Hopefully it's not too long before you visit again.

Back from the herf. Here are a few pics.
It was nice meeting Earl (AC), pics above and great seeing the Nebraska guys and Tank. Many people drove anywhere from 3 to 6 hours to greet The Mum and I'm truly honored.

I can't thank the Dooley family enough (Dooley, Cassie and Logan) for their hospitality. 

The trip started on a sour note as the plane was delayed 2 hours but Dooley hung in there waited at the airport for me.

 

Since I was late, Gus, Steve, Cassie etc had dinner and I ate a sub on the plane. The guys weren't too happy about that (me eating the sub).

We met in downtown Omaha for a smoke and there we hooked up with AC & Marty. After that we headed back to Dooley's till the wee hours of the morning.

 

Tank showed up about 11 on Friday night and opened (for him and I) a bottle of the Jelly Man's wine:

Tank also came loaded with stogies and it was a help yourself to some fine quality smokes, thanks Tank.

Cassie was like, I can't believe the Mum is here, he better behave or else:


On Friday we all had a monster breakfast thanks to Cass.

We started the day off with a few morning smokes:

On Friday afternoon we went to a place called Safari Cigars and Lounge, first class all the way.

What a beautiful stadium, excellent tunnel video, over 90,000 fans etc.
I'm so glad I made the trip

After we got back from the game we hit a cigar lounge, back to house to wash up and;

Saturday night we (Dooley, Cass, Logan, Buckit & Di, & Steve) went out to a steak house:



Excellent prime rib, excellent steak, very good dessert, better company.

By Sunday afternoon it was just the Dooley family and myself. We went out for an early dinner on a recommendation from the MayTagMan (The Bohemian Cafe). A family owned Czechoslovakia restaurant since 1924.  


He told me to order a beer so I did:

Sunday night, Cass went to a step meeting and Dooley held a meeting in his garage while Logan & I watch the rest of the football games.

I'll miss my Nebraska buddies and Tank but I have another great memory to tuck away.

I think I smoked something like 30 cigars or so in 4 days.
