My son made a Robin Hood shot tonight
#1
I thought this was pretty cool.

My 17 year old son has been going to the Levittown PAL Archery program for the last 8 years. Awesome program!
Anyway, tonight he made a robin Hood shot...he was more upset that he now needs to buy 2 new arrows. Tongue  Big Grin
The weird thing is, is that the vanes, nocks & logos, of both arrows, lined up.
The arrows were carbon fiber ICS Bowhunter, 400 spine, with target points.

Here are pics of the arrows.

Thanks guys.

He's has the arrows in his room...I'd put it in a case....but it's way long.

He's had a couple in the past where he's hit the nock of the 1st arrow & cracked the nock then bounced off.

The shot was from either 20 or 25 yards.  I don't remember which.  He was just warming up & adjusting his sight when it happened.
It was with his compound bow,  He also has a take down recurve bow.

Definitely once in a lifetime!

I've been shooting bow since I was 7 or 8. I've shot league, done tournaments and hunted since I was a teen. I've shot off more nocks than I can count, but I've only had 1 Robin Hood.
