Mourning the loss of a great B&M
#1
I was just informed that one of my favorite Pennsylvania B&Ms, King Beaver Cigars in Monaca, PA has closed.

King Beaver was always a "must stop" B&M whenever I'd be in that section of Pennsylvania and my most looked forward to stop on the Western Pennsylvania Cigar Crawl.

Manager Vince Orend is one of the nicest guys I have ever met....within or outside of the cigar industry.

The shop itself was always welcoming and comforting, with great leather chairs in the lounge area that you melted into like hot butter. They always had a fantastic well stocked walk-in humidor, and a pot of fantastic coffee was always on the brewer. This is one shop that will be sorely missed by myself and obviously everyone who called it their "home" smoke shop!

That really sucks. A good shop is a hard thing to find. I would imagine with all the taxes that it is getting harder and harder to survive though.
