Well we needed a new refrigerator for the kitchen:

Unfortunately the newer refrigerator models are higher than 68 inches. I Called the cabinet maker and that style door is no longer made.
Since the door is not made of wood I had no choice but to remove the cabinet above the refrigerator.

A little spackle & paint and at least it was cleaned up:

But of course it didn't look nice, so what to do, what to do:
Build a new insert:

Match the paint with the cabinet:
