Irish Whisky, anyone?

But did they give you one of the little dogs? [lol]

I still like JW Black . . . and I like the Gold better than the Blue, actually, but not enough more than the Black to pay double for it.

When I'm spending over $50 for Scotch, I either want a damn big bottle or Balvenie Doublewood. Big Grin

This I did not know.  Is it priced in the same range as Bushmills, Jameson, Powers, etc.?

It tends to run about $10-$15 more than the blended...

Hmm, I guess someone should tell the folks at Hiram Walker, Candian Club, Seagrams... Not to mention all the other Candian, Welsh, Swedish, and New Zealand companys they need to add an "e" their labels... Wink

Also the Bourbons by Old Forester and Maker's Mark are labeled sans "e", though most other American whiseys do.

While I like the double wood alright, I'd just rather by a bottle of the American spirits that sat in those barrels first.

As far as Irish Whiskey goes, the Bushmill Stuff is pretty damn good.
