that's a helluva story. i haven't experienced anything on that level, but i definitely know what it's like to have your generosity repaid with skeevy mooching and lies. like back in college when a guy crashing on our couch tricked my friend into being a drug mule. far too many grifters in this world for my taste. the best defense (and revenge) is to live well and trust your gut. those guys usually get theirs in the end.
