Correct

If you over age a cigar you run the risk of it loosing characteristics that you may like. The best way it to start with a box and smoke one every now and then... When you notice that you really like the way they are smoking smoke them all.

Being a full-power, full flavor stogie lover, I completely agree with this. I think I have some stuff that is past it's prime, after just a year or two. It's definitely good to continually re-visit your stock. Especially if you're storing boxes.
I usually only buy boxes of stuff that is otherwise hard to find. There are enough B&M's around here that will keep an open box of everyday stuff on the shelf for a few months that I can sample how they're progressing/regressing.
