Hydrogen Peroxide, a crazy thought
#1
Just a crazy thought...

Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) kills mold & is non-toxic, does not leave a toxic residue after use, is very inexpensive and produces no toxic fumes...

Could it be used to wipe down & season a humidor? or maybe, even added to a cigar Oasis type of device, or even to beads, to prevent any mold from forming?

I believe it would turn into water in about 10-12 hours after being used.

Any thoughts?

Good question, it definetly kills mold.  I bet Doc  Diaz would know something about this.

I've heard of adding grain alcohol (like everclear) and I personally use PG as my anti mold agent. But I've not heard of hydrogen peroxide, although I don't see why not.

Good idea to ask Doc.
I sent him the question in a message on Facebook
