Any one see the new James Bond Movie?  Took my wife to see it Friday and she even liked it! (She hates Bond movies) A good movie to see and hear at the theatre.
Freakin' ray of sunshine, ain't I.

I'm not a big Bond fan, but this one looks good. Doubt I will find the time to see it in the theater, though - it will probably have to wait for Netflix. My next outing to the theater needs to be The Fountain.

Early opinion: "Best Bond yet!"

I even added it to my NetFlix queue to see again.
But you're right: the sound effects in the theater rock!
Especially the gunshots and the action scenes.

Speaking of action scenes...
The chase scene at the beginning was like skateboarding with human bodies!
What an awesome movie!

LOVED IT!

Right on, b-dub - That chase scene was incredible...it was possible but not really possible.  The writing is dry and hysterical, almost on a par with Casablanca, in my biased opinion.  The movie was filled with contextual one-liners that blew my mind.  "That last drink almost killed me."...fantastic.

Although I wouldn't call it the best bond ever, since the ending kind of lulled on, i definitely would say it's in the top three.  Undisputedly the best bond since Sean.

Absolutely loved it. My mother even loved it (we do movies as a family around the holidays) and she hates Bond movies.

Best Bond ever. Not the best James Bond, as that will always be Sean Connery, but the best Bond movie imho. No scifi tomfoolery, no invisible cars or goofy, implausible gadgets, no Spectre . . . but loads of badass, visceral, heartpounding action.

Not perfect . . . there IS a bit of a lull there toward the end . . . but the definitive "Batman Begins" of the 007 genre: back to roots, and gritty as hell.

Got my copy on DVD and looking forward to a viewing with Mrs P when I get home.

There will only ever be one James Bond ...... Sean ...... but I have heard that this is a good second place and back to the original grass roots.

Cool

Loved Casino Royale.  Very refreshing to actually get a very good recent Bond film.  No invisible cars in this one!
