Sure I think a large pot would be fine. You'll have to use some type of plant food every couple of weeks because tobacco plants require alot of nutrients. the pot will have to be heavy as well some of the plants if fed well can reach 6-7 feet in height. They won't fair well if they tip over when mature.

cool I can do that. I got this giant terra cotta pot I can use. Should make and interesting source of conversation.
