t speaks the truth. i had all kinds of problems with my freaking hydra (basically the oasis) and dug out that foam and replaced it with gels. i use distilled water to charge the gels, and top it off with a squirt of 50-50 solution to prevent mold. haven't had a problem, and it works WONDERFULLY. so much better, i recharge them so far less often. and a little bit of that gel goes a long way, i highly recommend it. just rememer the pg solution to keep the mold away.

Only Rob would have 27lbs of beads, 4 CO's, and a hygro on every shelf of his humi!  Dude, its tobacco, not the F*CKING space shuttle!!

As for the "how to"  it's time to replace my foam anyways as I have to fill my CO's every week or two, so I will do one soon for ya, you pain in the ass!
