CORONAVIRUS
The 1st shot, I had some soreness in the shoulder for about a day.  Started almost immediately.

This 2nd shot was different.  Had a very mild headache, for about an hour last night.  So mild, I almost didn't notice it.  Shoulder didn't hurt yesterday, but this morning, it's a little sore.

The weirdest thing was that a few hours after the shot yesterday, I felt buzzed for a few hours & a little dizzy & woozy as well.

I read or heard one should have the second shot in the other arm. Less of a reaction?

Arm felt the same as last time.

Tonight, I started feeling a little woozy.  Slight headache again & now running low grade temp of 99.8°.  While not technically a fever, it's not my norm.

My sons both got the J7J shot the other day.

School is requiring vaccinations to attend starting next fall.

My wife had her 1st shot of the Moderna vaccine today. She had Covid last year, was sick for a month. Tested positive.
Tonight, she has chills, body aches, and now a fever of 103.2°

Just to update:
My wife had so many side effects.
Here's a list (in no particular timeline):
Tingling in both hands & both feet
Dizziness
Slightly swollen lips/burning

Hives on right foot, right hand, left arm

The day after: 9:00 am usual, expected tiredness, muscle aches, low grade fever (around 100.5°)
By early afternoon (around 1:00pm) developed bad chills, nausea, fever of 103.2° (with Advil)
Deep ache in both arms
dime sized bruise on right hand.  Hives dissipated, except on right foot.
Eyelids swollen
Cuticles on fingers of right hand red & swollen

Noticed dime sized bruise on left hand
Right arm hurt more than left
Hand a bit swollen
Lymph nodes in back of neck, armpits very swollen
Hives gone by evening.

Dime sized bruise on right leg.
Right leg intense tingling, itching, & burning.
Feeling of movement under skin near right knee, very sensitive to the touch.
Temperature remain elevated (between 100°-101°) until Tuesday September 14th
Cuticles on fingers of right hand still red & swollen

Lymph nodes so swollen near right elbow that hand swelled.
Nodes under right armpit & back of neck still tender & swollen.
Right arm became so painful & difficult to move. Lasted 4 days.

Still on going:

Fatigue has not ebbed
Tingling near right knee has increased from side and moved up to mid-thigh
Right leg still feels tired

She saw her PC doc & she noted the side effects. Her Doc told her with those side effects from the 1st shot & given that she had a month long confirmed case of Covid, she should not take the 2nd dose.

Her job mandates now that ALL employees must have full vaccinations.

Tough decision but perhaps the second shot won’t be as bad.
