I usually like CAO cigars, but this one just didn't cut it. It cut great, pulled great, burned mostly razor straight - but the flavor was just awful. The biggest flavors were of toasted almonds, yeast, and stale bread. Not my favorite flavor profile... The quality and construction were spot on - just a bad flavor in my opinion. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Which size did you try? They tend to be pretty good smokes. I would give this one another shot a few months from now.

I agree with you Mark, the crillo just didnt have flavor, or at least good flavors.
that one and the Cameroon are the only ones that I dont like from CAO Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did. George Carlin |

I dont like these ......... bland imho.
I do like Italia's though, and have a general liking for CAO cigars, though I tend to go through phases that see me reach for them when I am spannering in the garage or lawn work. I guess I reach for what I regard as better cigars when I want to relax, which does not mean they are duds, just not as good as some sticks out there. I DON'T GET DRUNK ..... I GET AWESOME!!!!!! |
