Ben Took Tonto Fishing

Two buddies went fishing.

Ben an expert fisherman took his buddy Tonto fishing for the first time.

After a few hours into it, they realized that they haven't caught anything yet. They started analyzing their tactic
until they came across another fisherman. 

The other man had two buckets full of fish. 'Excuse me,' Ben said. 'Where did you get all those fish?'
 
The fisherman replied, 'If you just go down the steam until the water isn't salty, there are a ton of hungry fish.'
 
They thanked him and went on their way. 15 minutes later, Ben said to Tonto, 'Fill the bucket up with water and see if the water is salty.'

Tonto dips the bucket in the stream and drinks some. 'Nope. Still salty.'  
 
They walked for another 45 minutes. Ben asked Tonto 'Can you check again?'

'Nope, still salty said Tonto'. One hour later Ben asks him to check again.

'Nope. Still salty,' says Tonto.
 
'That's not good,' Ben says. 'We have been walking for almost three hours and the water is still salty!'
I promise my wife & kid I would bring dinner home.
 
'I know,' says Tonto. 'And the bucket is almost empty!'
