I have no issues with my glass top, but yeah, some aren't a tight enough seal. wondering if silicone would fix a loose one...

Is the no glass top recommendation because its another seam to lose humidification, or is there another reason? I am new to the forum and cigars. Just reading some of the older posts.

Thanks,

Yeah, often have issues with the seam and humidity.

And light through the glass will over time negatively affect cigars

Thank you for the replies. I appreciate the information. I only have a few cigars currently, so I am using a tupperware with a humipack. However, I am starting to do some research so I can purchase a humidor soon.

Buy one sooner rather than later

It makes the whole experience that bit more special when there is a dedicated box for your sticks, even if you only have a dozen in there, it just feels right.
