Thinking about buying a box of the Ave Maria "Crusader" by AJ Fernandez and was wondering if anyone has tried them?

I dont know if it was the Crusader on the lable that caught me or the general look of the cigar but the price looks decent.

Curious????

Wish I could help, never tried one myself.

They are on my list to try. I have enjoyed much of AJ's other work.

i'd buy a couple first to see if you like them. Hate to have a box of cigars sitting around that you don't like

I bought one of these a ways back when I had gone to the CI Superstore a couple months ago. I think it is one of those made-for-CI specials. I do remember smoking it, but it was not a memorable cigar. I dont want to sway you either for or against, but what I remember of it was that there are other AJ Fernandez sticks, that are cheaper, that taste better.
I will admit that I have only smoked one....and you know how sometimes you can just get a bad or disappointing stick, even in your most favorite of favorites.
As Larry said....Order a 5'r first, and see if its something that you would want a box of taking up real estate in your humi....

...moving along...nothing left to see here.

Good name, good packaging, decent cigar. It was an OK cigar, it didn't knock me off my feet.

I am curious and still curious. I have not tried these yet but the Cigar.com guys tout these things obsessively in each issue.

I've had a few & still have a few sitting.....Not a bad stick, but doesn't blow my skirt up either.....I don't think I'd buy a box.....I might do a 5er if/when I run out.....
