Never thought of it, electrician didn't bring it up and probably wasn't necessary for me. I have that safety switch on the box so that's all I need and probably much much cheaper.

So I was able to get in touch with Fishhound last night.
(Thanks Jimmie)
I sent him emails with pictures of the panel & then talked with him on the phone for a while.
After looking at the pics & hearing what I'd like to do, Bob pointed me in the right direction.
Bob told me that the better solution would be to replace my old panel (which is an oddball size, make & model) with a newer, larger name brand panel. This way there is more room to move the breakers around (with room for later expansion) & I'll be able to get the correct Interlock kit specifically for the panel that is UL approved.
