Parkster's take on rocks is similar to mine.
In the winter I do not use ice cubes....especially if I am outside,yes I go drink outside in the winter.

If I drink slower than the suck em down days,I throw a splash of water and no rocks.
I like cold drinks in the warmer days but I do not like how ice cubes weakens stregnth/taste sometimes.Solid clear cubes is key,those white cubes tend to give off freezer burn or freezer odor in the taste that ruins the drink.
