I spent the evening at Nickleby's with Jay Lundy from AKA cigars. I got to smoke one of their new AKA Respect cigars. It was awesome. Here is a little description about the new cigar from their website.
This new line from AKA is a Full Tribute to our US Military. We have named four of the sizes after mottos of each of the four main branches of our military. The “Guard” Size is for our Coast Guard and National Guard and the “Reserves” Size is for all of our Reserves of every branch. We at AKA “Respect” all of the Women and Men who sacrifice their all to defend us and our great nation and the new “AKA RESPECT” Cigar Line is our way to pay Tribute to these True American Heroes. The Dark Ecuadorian Habano Wrapper has been aged 4 Years Binder: The Binder is a 4 Year Aged Honduran Corojo Ligero from the Eiroa Family Filler Blend: 4 and 5 Year Aged Dominican Corojo Ligero and Honduran Corojo Ligero from the Eiroa and Kelner Families AKA RESPECT is a Full Body Cigar with an Ominous Personality that will take you to the edge of your smoking limits. The start of the cigar will excite your palate with an onslaught of pepper and then develop into a uniquely rich and complex dense flavor profile of cask oak, earth notes, and cedar with an underlying light sweetness of cocoa. The awesome burn and effortless draw will produce a nice heavy volume of smoke. Exhale through your nose and you will have “RESPECT” for this new masterpiece. I had an awesome time hanging out with Jay and he hooked me up with some sweet swag. ![]() Dooley, I know you're jealous.

Sometimes I work to Omaha but mostly Lincoln. When I go to Omaha I like to go over to Havana Garage since it is so close to my hotel. Next time I make a trip that way I will try to give you a heads up to see if we can get together for a cigar.

Jakes in Lincoln is a good place to hang out too, jsnake. Not a huge selection but nice atmosphere. Right downtown by the campus so lots of good scenery.
Looks awesome AF Mac. I'm stopping there tomorrow. |

I want to visit but is really far from my hotel and I do not have transportation when I am there. I stay at the Super 8 on Cornhusker. I almost walked there the other day though. I definitely need to make it. If you pick up one of these AKA sticks let us know what you think.
