I took a chance on a 5'er of these for cheap and I actually like this cigar for golfing.

I remember it being very mild but not terrible.  Certainly not piney.  Maybe you got a bad one?

I don't mind them at all.  A pleasant mild/medium stick thats actually got some (good) flavor.   There are so many mild sticks out that are bland to me, this is an exception.

I think it's so interesting, that some people will hate a certain cigar, while others can enjoy it so much.

When I got back into cigars a few months ago, I bought a bunch of samplers. Most of them had a 5 vegas gold. In them. It was the first stick I tried in several years. It was aweful, hot smoke, no flavor, and just not very nice. I chalked it up to inexperience and a harsh comeback into the game. So I dropped the rest in my humidor and seeked greener pastures. When I came back to the golds. They hadnt changed. Still really unpleasant. I tried one more a few weeks later. I will give them one thing, they are very consistent. I still had 6 left, various sizes, I put them in a baggy, got out at much air as I could, and left them on the freebie table in the barracks, on my way to the bathroom. When I came out a few minutes later, they had vanished.

I hope some one enjoyed them.

I have never been a fan of the Gold's.  The Miami on the other hand, is a fine smoke indeed...  [pimp]

I never liked the golds, the "A" is a good cigar, but the Miami is the winner!!! get Miami on C-bid for around $50.
