2012 Mum's Sauce

Another year, another tradition in jarring the sauce. A yearly tribute to my mom. Not as many pics this year but I'm sure you get the jest of it:

Some of the plum tomatoes I purchased at the farm plus I used some of the ones I grew:

I was going to ask the same... What spices are in it? Basil? Anything else? I am getting hungry now, BBL after I raid the kitchen. Smile

The jars will not go bad as long as they are properly sealed. Right now only basil is in them. When we open a jar or two for Sunday dinner then we add the rest of the ingredients and warm up the gravy.

How about doing a thread on how to prepare the jars and seal them?
